The Japan Go Federation has made a new start as a general incorporated association.

The Japan Go Federation was founded by three bodies in 2010: the Nihon Ki-in, the Kansai Ki-in, and the Japan Pair Go Association. We dispatched players to the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, and to the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Incheon, Korea. And in October 2019, with the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games approaching, we made a fresh start to our activity as a general incorporated association. We are going to make ever-greater efforts to popularize and promote Go and Pair Go in Japan and overseas.
